What you will do
- Build and maintain channel adapters in Rust, Go and TypeScript.
- Tune the distributed index so search stays under 200ms across billions of records.
- Keep the streaming layer and its socket connections healthy for live clients.
- Implement key handling and per-tenant data isolation.
- Debug production latency and protocol edge cases with the CTO.
What we look for
- Five years or more on backend distributed systems or real-time event pipelines.
- Production experience in Rust, Go or performance-minded TypeScript.
- Real understanding of database internals, full-text indexing and socket handling.
- History of running high-throughput ingestion under an uptime commitment.
- Clear writing, because you will answer customers directly.
Nice to have
- You have reverse-engineered a proprietary messaging protocol before.
- You have worked with SQLite virtual tables or embedded vector indexes.
