How Discord connects
Our bot joins your guild over Gateway WebSockets and captures server events. Teammates link their own Discord accounts through OAuth2 so direct messages route to the shared desk.
Discord runs communities and increasingly runs support. We index the whole server, thread by thread, and route the messages that need a human into the same queue as everything else.

Indexed for the life of the account on all four plans, from 1 GB on Starter to 1 TB on Scale. A single export runs to 1 GB on Starter and Team, 25 GB on Scale and uncapped on Enterprise, and the archive stays readable after you close the account.
